McKenna Worline, Master Level Clinical Intern
McKenna is a Clinical Intern completing her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Capella University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Physiology.
Empathizing with the fact that change is rarely easy, having been in the client chair herself, McKenna believes growth is possible and is ready to walk beside you in your transformation journey.
Her approach is all about connection. She believes that we all share pieces of ourselves with others, and those connections—no matter how small—can be powerful catalysts for change. You are not a fixed being; you are always evolving, and McKenna is here to help you tap into your potential and move toward the life you want.
Using a blend of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and deep self-exploration, McKenna helps clients uncover what’s beneath the surface. Like an iceberg, much of what drives our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors lies beneath our awareness. Through thoughtful guidance, she will help you access and understand those hidden parts of yourself—so you can break patterns, heal, and grow with clarity and confidence.
McKenna is interested in working with individuals of any age experiencing depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, parenting, and bullying. Customizing treatment to each person, she extracts technique components from a variety of therapeutic approaches to thoughtfully personalize your care.
Outside of providing therapy, McKenna finds joy in running, pilates, creating cringy metaphors, and cuddling her cute little dog who acts like a pitbull.
McKenna is accepting new clients in Schaumburg and Lake in the Hills. She can be reached at: mckenna@owenscounseling.com.
