Savannah Walker, Master Level Clinical Intern

Savannah is a Clinical Intern completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and works in drug prevention education.

She believes in a holistic approach to counseling and enjoys empowering clients to become their full selves. She aims to help her clients gain awareness of their experiences to help them achieve their goals. Her counseling style creates a safe environment with compassion and a calm demeanor. Her greatest joy is celebrating her clients’ progress and applauding the work they put in.

Savannah is interested in working with couples and adults with anxiety and depression, PTSD and complex trauma, codependency, LGBTQIA+ issues, grief, relationship challenges and women’s issues. She uses an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating a variety of techniques to best fit the needs of the individual.

Outside of providing therapy, Savannah enjoys playing with her dogs, crocheting, taking care of her plants, and being active.
