Warmth is at the heart of Savannah’s approach to therapy and considers it an honor to partner with clients to meet their goals. With a big smile and plenty of humor to go around, she will make you feel at ease. Savannah is committed to make therapy feel approachable. Her approachable and nonjudgmental demeanor helps clients feel safe as they explore their goals and challenges.
Savannah has special interests in working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, codependency, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, and relationship challenges. She is particularly passionate about helping clients heal from trauma while understanding and overcoming its impact on their lives and relationships.
Using an eclectic approach, Savannah primarily integrates person-centered techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring her methods to fit each client’s unique needs. She believes in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Her greatest joy is witnessing her clients’ progress and celebrating their hard work.
For couples, Savannah believes that being in a relationship is a skill. She works to equip partners with practical tools and strategies to improve communication, build trust, and foster deeper connections, helping them create the relationships they desire with their partner.
Savannah is a Clinical Intern completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and works in drug prevention and awareness education. Outside of providing therapy, Savannah enjoys playing with her dogs, crocheting, taking care of her plants, baking, writing, and staying active.
