Ron Henson, LPC

*Not currently accepting new clients.*

I am a therapist that believes in meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them on their journey towards healing and growth. I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where people can feel heard, supported, and empowered. I enjoy working with college students, adults, men exploring emotional health and personal growth, neurodiverse individuals, BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ communities, and people trying therapy for the first time as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, relationships, emotions, identities, and stress.

My approach to therapy combines Reality Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, focusing on personal choice, self-discovery, and practical strategies for meaningful change. My own journey fuels my passion for reducing stigma and creating space where people can explore their experiences with compassion and curiosity.

I am passionate about making the therapy process approachable and effective. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our cats, creating diamond art paintings, and unwinding with video games. Passionate about personal growth and lifelong learning, I strive to create a grounded, steady presence for clients and in my own life.

Whether you have taken many steps, or this is your first step towards healing and growth, I am here to support you and help you take that next step.
