Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy in Lake in the Hills, St. Charles, Schaumburg, Collinsville, and via Telehealth

What Is Individual Therapy?

Life’s challenges can leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from the things that matter most. Tension in relationships, difficulty managing responsibilities, and the constant pressure to hold everything together can take a toll on your mental and emotional health.

At Owens Counseling & Associates, we provide personalized, evidence-based individual therapy to help you regain balance and build a meaningful, fulfilling life. Our licensed therapists use proven approaches — including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — to equip you with practical tools for managing stress, regulating emotions, and improving relationships. Every session is tailored to your unique needs, fostering growth, healing, and resilience.

Who We Treat

We welcome individual clients ages 3 and up, offering age-appropriate therapeutic approaches for children, adolescents, and adults. Sessions typically run 53–60 minutes and are available in person at our four Illinois locations or via telehealth.

What You’ll Gain From Individual Therapy

  • Personalized strategies for emotional and mental well-being
  • Practical, evidence-based skills to manage stress and navigate life’s challenges
  • Support to strengthen relationships and build self-confidence
