Owens & Associates offers clinically supervised practicum/internship opportunities to Master level students!

Graduate students at the Master’s level who are completing programs for their Master’s degree in Counseling/Clinical Mental Health or a Master’s in Social Work have an opportunity to complete their practicum requirements and hours with our site.
At the graduate level, the supervised experience our practice offers includes, but is not limited to:

  • Individual, couples, family and group counseling
  • Opportunities to work with children, teens and adults from a variety of different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Learn and practice intake, diagnosis, treatment planning and termination procedures
  • Opportunity to explore different theoretical orientations and therapeutic strategies
  • Learn how to market yourself and your skills set in a private practice setting through networking and marketing techniques and experiences. We do have an admin team that does help support each individual with obtaining clients.
  • Experience individual and group supervision, peer consultation and scheduled team meetings
  • Opportunity to engage with a number of different clinicians with different expertise and years of experience

Our busy and compassionate counseling practice is always accepting new inquiries for part time and full time therapists and social workers who are reliable, organized, and detail-oriented to support clients and our full team.

We are a well-established group practice meeting the needs of our clients and communities by offering counseling and therapy to all age groups through all modalities.

Wage Range: To be discussed and determined

Full Time Salary Benefits Include: Health, Vision, Dental & Life Insurance. PTO. Sick Time. Bereavement Time. 401K. Paid holidays.

Part Time Benefits Include: Access to supervision (at no cost). EHR, email, and phone extension provided. Marketing materials provided. Opportunities for growth. Welcome to all team meetings/gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting intake sessions and seeing established clients regularly
  • Building and maintaining a client caseload
    • Full-Time: Minimum 28 billable hours per week or average 28 per week each quarter
    • Utilizing the remaining hours (expectation of 40 hours total) to engage in indirect work (e.g. meetings, networking, community engagement, trainings, etc.)
    • Part-Time: Minimum 15 billable hours per week or average 15 per week each quarter
  • Maintaining Outlook email, phone/text extension, and EHR system
  • Managing own schedule, appointments, client notes, and other weekly tasks
  • Attending and engaging in team meetings
  • Ability to work effectively independently, as well as part of a team
  • Engages in marketing and networking opportunities

Qualifications

  • Hold an LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, PsyD in IL
  • Part-Time: Minimum three days per week
  • Full-Time: 4-5 days per week
  • Be available in person to service 1-2 locations
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Team player mentality

Bonus, though not required: provides bilingual services and/or possesses a CADC.

Collinsville Clinical Supervisor

Clinical Supervisor – Licensed Counselor or Social Worker

We are seeking a clinically licensed counselor or social worker (LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent) to supervise a team of therapists in Southern Illinois. This role is ideal for a self-starting, pragmatic clinician who is excited to help grow a community-based behavioral health practice.

Location: In Person in Collinsville, IL 

Hours: Full Time. Exact hours to be determined. At least two evenings and one weekend day or three evenings required.

Wage Range: $60k with bonus structure

Responsibilities

  • Clinical supervision
  • Conducting intake sessions and seeing established clients regularly

  • Building relationships with local providers
  • Helping develop the office into a premier location for therapeutic services in the region
  • Managing a small team of clinicians in this office
  • Managing your Outlook email, phone/text extension, and EHR system
  • Scheduling client sessions
  • Mentoring and supporting interns

Qualifications
