Skills Support Group for ages 14-18!

When: Saturday Mornings, 9AM-10AM 

Where: 9241 S. Illinois Route 31, Lake in the Hills, IL 

This is an ongoing Dialectical Behavioral Group for teens.

This group is designed to give adolescents the tools they need to manage stress, handle big emotions, and build stronger connections with others. Through guided activities and supportive discussions, participants will learn healthy coping skills, boost their confidence, and develop a more positive sense of self.

 

This group will allow the opportunity to:

  • Recognize external and internal triggers to stress.
  • Learn how to manage overwhelming emotions in a healthy way.
  • Build mindfulness skills to stay present and grounded.
  • Replace harmful coping habits with positive, constructive ones.
  • Navigate challenging social situations with confidence.
  • Strengthen relationships with friends and family.
  • Boost self-esteem and a positive sense of self.
  • Enjoy a safe environment to gain and share support with peers.

Snacks will be provided. Please let admin and the group leader know if your child has any food allergies.
