Parva Patel, Master Level Clinical Intern
Hi, I’m Parva! As a counselor in training, I am focused on providing compassionate, collaborate, and empathetic support to individuals as they navigate through challenges and changes in their lives. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space, in which you can feel heard, understood, and feel more in control of your life.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Trauma-Informed practices, but I am a strong believer that there is no single approach that works for everyone.
To ensure you get the best care, I will also utilize evidence-based practices from other approaches such as Existential Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. My goal is to
support you in your therapeutic journey by actively collaborating with each other and building a strong, genuine connection that is grounded in honesty, trust, and respect.
I’m interested in working with and supporting individuals of any age, particularly adolescents and young adults that may be experiencing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and family conflict. I also have a strong passion of working with couples that may be facing difficulties in their relationship.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy cooking, going on walks by the lake and exploring, watching Formula 1, NBA, and playing video games.
