Brielle Aquino, Master Level Clinical Intern
Hi, I’m Brielle! I believe in the importance of an empathetic, collaborative, light hearted therapist that will walk with you on your journey, never letting you feel alone. Creating a safe space for individuals that is nonjudgemental, as well as helping carry the heavy load one may be bearing so they can explore themselves, learn self-compassion, and find peace is my priority.
The approach I take is framed by trauma informed, person centered, strengths based practices. To ensure your best care, I will pull from various modalities to make an individualized, integrative approach, as what’s most important is finding the right fit for your needs, and there isn’t always a “one size fits all” technique. Depending on your goals, I may utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques, mindfulness, art therapy, narrative therapy, skill building, and introspection.
I’m especially interested in supporting those dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, or life transitions. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, with a particular passion for supporting adolescents.
When I’m not in the office you can find me taking on a new craft, shopping, or watching true crime documentaries and horror movies with one of my dogs or my bird by my side.
Education: Clinical intern completing her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology at Benedictine University, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Judson University
