Elaina Rossman, LPC Pending
I believe that every person holds within themselves the capacity for change, healing, and personal growth. Sometimes, however, life’s challenges can feel too overwhelming to navigate alone and that’s where counseling can be a powerful tool. Reaching out for support is an act of courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals on their path to healing and transformation. It’s an honor to witness the resilience and strength that clients bring into the room, even when they may not see it in themselves yet.
My approach to counseling is rooted in a trauma-informed perspective that also incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I’ll take the time to connect with you, encourage you, and teach you the skills that can help you to move from a place of survival toward a more fulfilling, connected, and meaningful life that feels worth living.
My clinical interests include working with adults and exploring patterns related to hyper-independence, chronic stress, perfectionism, and difficulty balancing personal needs with the responsibilities of daily life. I am especially passionate about creating a safe supportive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to start taking steps towards making choices that align with their own values.
Outside of the therapy room you can find me spending time with my friends, being outside in nature, and engaging in one of my various creative hobbies.
