Kathy Walls, MS, LPC Pending

I believe that everyone deserves a supportive and non-judgmental space to thrive, and I am passionate about empowering my clients to unlock their full potential. I understand beginning therapy can be intimidating, but I am committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and aspirations. Through empathy, compassion, and collaboration, I will work with you to build a personalized plan that honors your unique strengths, values, and goals. My approach combines Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Talk Therapy, Art, and Play Therapies to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop the tools you need to succeed and flourish.

My expertise includes supporting individuals and families affected by cancer, as well as those navigating other lifelong illnesses. As a cancer survivor myself, I understand the importance of having a supportive community, and I am dedicated to helping others find the strength and resilience they need to thrive. I have created two cancer support groups for patients and their families, and I invite you to reach out for more information.

In addition to my work with individuals and families affected by illness, I am also passionate about supporting children, teenagers, and adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I am committed to helping you uncover your inner strengths, develop the skills you need to achieve your goals, and cultivate a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, I have learned that clients want to be seen, heard, and understood. As your counselor, I promise to be attentive, supportive, and a steady source of guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, staying active by walking, biking, swimming, and spending time with my husband and keeping up to date on my two sons and the many grand pets I have.

I invite you to reach out to me to learn more about how we can work together to achieve your goals and unlock your full potential.
