Rachel King, Master Level Clinical Intern

*Accepting new clients the week of August 11th, 2025*

I’m Rachel King, a counselor in training with a passion for walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I care deeply about supporting adults who are living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and other complex mental health concerns. I also have a strong interest in working with those who have experienced trauma, abuse, or major life changes such as divorce or separation.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity to grow and heal. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused techniques to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and move forward with purpose.

As someone who values authenticity, connection, and growth, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I’m honored to be completing my clinical internship at Owens Counseling.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.” — Brené Brown
