This is an ongoing Dialectical Behavioral Group for teens.

Our Teen DBT Group helps adolescents build the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Through engaging activities, real-life skill building, and supportive group discussions, teens will learn how to manage stress, regulate intense emotions, improve relationships, and communicate more effectively. Participants will strengthen their self-esteem, develop healthy coping strategies, and gain practical skills to help them thrive both now and in the future.

This Group Will Provide You the Opportunity To:

  • Learn core DBT skills including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Identify emotional triggers and patterns that lead to overwhelm or impulsive behaviors

  • Develop healthy coping skills to replace self-destructive or ineffective behaviors

  • Practice managing intense emotions in a structured group therapy environment

  • Improve communication, boundaries, and relationship skills

  • Build self-respect and a more balanced sense of self

  • Receive validation, feedback, and encouragement from peers and therapists

  • Participate in a supportive therapy group with DBT skills incorporated designed for real-life change

Is Group Therapy Right for my Teen?

Group therapy may be a good fit for your teen if they:

  • Struggle with anxiety, stress, big emotions, or mood swings

  • Have difficulty expressing feelings or managing overwhelming emotions

  • Feel isolated or misunderstood by peers

  • Need support building coping skills, confidence, or social skills

  • Would benefit from learning alongside other teens facing similar challenges

  • Respond better to peer connection than one-on-one conversations alone

Group therapy offers a safe, structured, and therapist-led environment where teens can practice skills, feel understood, and build healthy relationships — all while maintaining confidentiality and emotional safety!
