Is Group Therapy Right for my Teen?

Group therapy may be a good fit for your teen if they:

  • Struggle with anxiety, stress, big emotions, or mood swings

  • Have difficulty expressing feelings or managing overwhelming emotions

  • Feel isolated or misunderstood by peers

  • Need support building coping skills, confidence, or social skills

  • Would benefit from learning alongside other teens facing similar challenges

  • Respond better to peer connection than one-on-one conversations alone

Group therapy offers a safe, structured, and therapist-led environment where teens can practice skills, feel understood, and build healthy relationships — all while maintaining confidentiality and emotional safety!
